Description
The Paddock™ Post Hole Auger range provides interchangeable augers for compatible Honda GX35 powered Paddock earth auger drivers, including the SPCONE010 and SPCONE020. Available in 100mm, 200mm, 300mm and 400mm diameters, the range makes it easy to select the right hole size for fencing, landscaping, planting and general property work.
Heavy-duty steel construction, twin cutting blades and a 28mm 6-spline drive connection provide a robust setup for demanding digging applications. An auger extension is also available when additional working depth is required.

100mm to 400mm Auger Sizes
Four auger diameters are available, allowing the same compatible power head to be configured for different hole sizes and applications.
- 100mm Auger: Ideal for smaller holes and lighter post applications
- 200mm Auger: Versatile general-purpose size for many fencing and landscaping jobs
- 300mm Auger: Suitable where a larger diameter hole is required
- 400mm Auger: Large-diameter option for suitable planting, landscaping and post-hole applications
Select the auger diameter to suit the required hole, ground conditions and capabilities of the powered auger being used.
Twin Cutting Blade Design
The augers use a twin cutting blade arrangement to provide effective cutting across the base of the hole.
This design helps the auger progressively cut into suitable soil as the rotating flighting carries loosened material upwards and out of the hole.
28mm 6-Spline Drive Connection
The Paddock™ auger range uses a 28mm 6-spline input connection, providing a secure mechanical connection between the auger and compatible drive unit.
The augers are designed to suit compatible Paddock™ auger drivers including the SPCONE010 and SPCONE020.
They may also fit other machines using a compatible drive arrangement; however, customers should confirm the 28mm 6-spline connection, dimensions and overall compatibility before ordering for a non-Paddock machine.
Up to 700mm Working Depth
The standard auger configuration provides a maximum working depth of approximately 700mm without an extension.
For applications requiring deeper holes, a compatible Paddock™ auger extension is available separately.
Actual achievable drilling depth and performance will depend on the auger configuration, ground conditions and capability of the powered drive unit.
Typical Applications
- Fence post holes
- Farm and rural fencing
- Landscaping
- Tree and shrub planting
- Garden construction
- Property maintenance
- General earth boring

When fitting to equipment other than the nominated Paddock™ models, confirm the drive connection, dimensions and machine compatibility before purchase.
Operating Considerations
Auger performance will vary depending on soil type, moisture content, rocks, roots and other underground obstructions. Always inspect the work area for underground services and other hazards before drilling.
Use an auger size appropriate for the drive unit and ground conditions, and follow the operating and safety instructions supplied with the powered auger.
