Description
Paddock™ Plate Vibrator Compactors are heavy-duty construction machines designed for compacting road base, sand, gravel, asphalt and other suitable materials. The range includes forward-travel and reversible models, with machine sizes and compaction forces to suit everything from paving and landscaping through to demanding construction, trenching and equipment hire applications.

Paddock™ Plate Vibrator Compactors
Paddock offers a range of heavy-duty vibratory plate compactors designed for demanding trade and construction use. Choose from the compact 62kg SPC0010, the larger 92kg SPC0020 with integrated water tank, or the heavy-duty 150kg SPC0025 reversible compactor.
All three models feature genuine Honda commercial petrol engines, robust construction and high-performance vibration systems designed to efficiently consolidate suitable base materials.
Plate compactors are commonly used to prepare and consolidate base materials before laying pavers, constructing pathways, pouring concrete or completing other groundwork. Correct compaction can help reduce later movement, settling and surface failure.

SPC0010 – 62kg Forward Plate Compactor
The SPC0010 is the most compact and portable machine in the range, weighing approximately 62kg. Its manageable size makes it particularly useful for tradespeople who regularly need to load and unload equipment from utes and trailers.
Powered by a genuine Honda GX160 commercial engine, the unit generates approximately 10kN of centrifugal force. The 500 x 360mm plate provides a practical working footprint for pathways, paving, landscaping and general site preparation.
The open plate design helps reduce the build-up of dirt and compacted material, while rounded plate edges assist when working close to corners and boundaries. Transport wheels and a folding handle are included to simplify movement and storage.
SPC0020 – 92kg Forward Plate Compactor with Water Tank - COMING SOON
The SPC0020 steps up to a 92kg operating weight and 15kN of centrifugal force, providing increased compaction performance while retaining the simplicity and manoeuvrability of a forward-travel plate compactor.
Powered by a genuine Honda GX160 petrol engine, the SPC0020 operates at 6,000 vibrations per minute and features a large 526 x 500mm base plate for efficient coverage across paving, landscaping, construction and asphalt applications.
A key feature of the SPC0020 is its integrated water tank and suppression system. When working with asphalt, water helps prevent hot material from sticking to the base plate for a smoother, cleaner finish. The system can also assist with dust suppression in suitable applications.
A sealed clutch and belt guard helps protect critical drive components against dust and unwanted material, while vibration-dampening rubber mounts help reduce vibration transferred through the operator handle. A central lifting hook provides a convenient lifting point for loading, unloading and onsite handling.
SPC0025 – 150kg Reversible Plate Compactor
The SPC0025 is designed for larger and more demanding compaction work. Weighing approximately 150kg and generating 30.5kN of centrifugal force, this model provides substantially greater compaction performance than the forward-travel units.
Powered by a genuine Honda GX200 commercial engine, a direction control lever allows the operator to change between forward and reverse travel, making the compactor easier to manoeuvre in trenches, confined areas and demanding working environments.
The heavy-duty frame incorporates lifting points, while anti-vibration shock mounts help isolate the upper deck, engine and handles from the vibrating base plate.
Which Paddock Plate Compactor?
SPC0010 – 62kg:
A compact and highly portable forward plate compactor. Well suited to landscaping, pathways, paving preparation and smaller construction jobs where ease of transport is important.
SPC0020 – 92kg: COMING SOON
A larger forward plate compactor providing increased compaction force and a wider working plate. The integrated water tank makes this model particularly useful for asphalt, paving, landscaping and general construction work.
SPC0025 – 150kg:
The heavy-duty option for more demanding applications. Its 30.5kN compaction force and forward/reverse operation make it particularly useful for larger construction projects, trenches and applications where greater compaction performance is required.
Heavy-Duty Construction
Paddock compactors are designed for demanding Australian working conditions and regular trade use. Heavy steel construction, robust vibration assemblies and quality Honda engine components help deliver reliable performance across construction, landscaping and hire applications.
Anti-vibration mounting systems help reduce vibration transferred to the upper machine structure and operator controls, while heavy-duty base plate designs provide reliable performance in demanding working environments.

Choosing the Correct Plate Compactor
The appropriate compactor will depend on the material being compacted, required compaction depth, working area and access available.
The SPC0010 provides maximum portability for smaller jobs, while the SPC0020 offers a useful step up in machine weight, plate size and compaction force while adding an integrated water system for asphalt work. For heavier construction and deeper compaction applications, the SPC0025 provides significantly greater centrifugal force and the added manoeuvrability of forward and reverse operation.
Forward plate compactors are generally best suited to granular materials such as road base, crusher dust, sand and gravel, as well as suitable asphalt applications. Cohesive materials such as heavy clay may require different compaction equipment depending on site conditions.
Pre-Start & Delivery Information
Important: The engines are stored and transported with only enough oil to keep internal components lubricated during storage and transport. Engine oil must be checked and the correct quantity added before starting.
Some minor assembly may be required after delivery to reduce shipping and storage dimensions.
