Description
The Portable Livestock Scale is a heavy-duty digital weighing system designed for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and other animals weighing up to 1,000kg. The large checker plate platform features integrated ramped ends for easier animal access, while the adjustable hold function helps provide stable readings when animals move during weighing.
Supplied as a complete kit with the weighing platform, stainless steel digital display, rechargeable battery, 240V power supply, leads and protective carry case, this scale is ideal for farms, acreages, veterinary clinics, equine facilities and livestock management.

Designed for Weighing Animals
Weighing livestock presents a particular challenge because animals rarely remain completely still. This scale incorporates an adjustable hold function to assist in obtaining a stable weight reading while the animal is moving on the platform.
With a maximum capacity of 1,000kg, the scale is suitable for weighing large animals such as horses while its ±0.5kg accuracy also provides useful readings for smaller livestock and animals.

Heavy-Duty Steel Weighing Platform
The weighing platform is manufactured from heavy-duty steel with a checker plate surface to provide additional grip underfoot.
Both ends of the platform are tapered to form integrated ramps, helping animals step onto and off the scale without negotiating a sharp platform edge.
Four adjustable feet allow the platform to be levelled and stabilised on a suitable surface for accurate weighing.
Portable Digital Display
The scale is supplied with a stainless steel digital display connected to the weighing platform by 2.5m leads. The large 31mm display provides clear weight readings and incorporates adjustable brightness for varying operating conditions.

Rechargeable Battery or 240V Operation
The digital indicator incorporates an internal 6V rechargeable battery, allowing the scale to be used in yards, sheds and other locations where mains power may not be readily available.
A 240V charger and power supply is included. The display can also be operated continuously from the supplied 240V power source when mains electricity is available.

Setup & Weighing Notes
- Position the scale on a firm and stable surface before use.
- Use the adjustable feet to level and stabilise the platform.
- Ensure the animal is fully positioned on the platform before recording its weight.
