Description
The Paddock Puddle Sucker Pump is a low-level submersible dewatering pump designed to remove water down to approximately 1mm. Also known as a low-boy, dry-bottom or residue pump, this style of pump is ideal for draining flat surfaces where a standard submersible pump would leave a significant amount of water behind.
Suitable for basements, car parks, pits, tanks, pools and construction areas, these pumps combine high flow rates of up to 170L/min with up to 11m discharge head. Choose from the Paddock SPSP0530N or the Tsurumi LSC1.4S.

Drain Water Down to Approximately 1mm
A conventional submersible pump often needs a significant water depth before it can continue operating. On a large flat area, even 30-60mm of remaining water can represent a considerable volume that must then be removed manually.
Puddle sucker pumps are designed specifically for low-level dewatering. Their intake arrangement allows them to continue drawing down until only approximately 1mm of water remains, making them especially useful where a surface needs to be left as dry as practical.

Both pump options deliver maximum flow rates of approximately 170L/min with discharge heads up to 11m.
This combination provides useful performance for quickly removing shallow water while still allowing discharge through hose to a suitable drainage point.
Designed for Ultra-Low Water Levels
The pump design allows discharged water to assist with motor cooling, helping the unit continue operating safely as the surrounding water level falls.
Integrated thermal protection provides an additional layer of protection by shutting the motor down if operating temperature becomes excessive.
Vertical or Horizontal Discharge
The 25mm discharge connection can be positioned vertically or horizontally using the two-bolt rotating outlet arrangement.
A vertical discharge is useful in narrow pits and confined spaces, while a horizontal outlet can help reduce hose kinking where water is being discharged away across the ground.
Durable Pump Construction
The pump incorporates a semi-vortex impeller along with dual silicon carbide mechanical seals, an oil-resistant power cable and anti-wicking cable entry design.

Manual Operation
These models are manually controlled rather than float-switch operated. The operator should monitor the pump during use and switch it off when the dewatering task is complete.
