Heavy-Duty Stump Grinding
Designed for a wide range of stump removal jobs, the Paddock™ stump grinder can cut down to 300mm, helping remove the stump and major root structure below the surrounding surface. Once grinding is complete, the area can be backfilled with topsoil for landscaping, turfing or replanting.
The straightforward design makes this machine suitable for property maintenance and DIY stump removal while offering the construction and performance required by landscapers and trade users. Twelve replaceable tungsten carbide cutting teeth provide aggressive cutting performance and excellent wear resistance when working through old and hardened timber.
Genuine Briggs & Stratton Power
At the heart of the machine is a genuine Briggs & Stratton 2100 Series™ 420cc 4-stroke petrol engine. Producing 13.5HP and 28.48Nm of torque, the engine provides the power required for demanding stump grinding applications.
Features including a Dura-Bore™ cast iron cylinder sleeve, DuraLube™ splash lubrication, low-oil protection and Magnetron® electronic ignition contribute to reliable starting and long service life.
Operator Safety
Stump grinding can produce significant amounts of high-speed debris, making appropriate PPE and safe operating practices essential. The Paddock™ stump grinder incorporates several features designed to assist the operator, including debris deflection flaps, a centrifugal safety clutch and a deadman cut-off switch which stops the engine when the operator releases the control.
A protective muffler guard is also fitted, with exhaust gases directed away from the normal operator position.
Simple Servicing & Spare Parts Support
The machine has been designed to keep routine maintenance straightforward. Twin drive belts can be inspected and tensioned, while two accessible grease points allow periodic lubrication of the cutting head.
The Briggs & Stratton engine requires normal small-engine maintenance including oil changes, air filter inspection and other scheduled servicing. Replacement cutting teeth, service items and stump grinder spare parts are available through Scintex.
Scintex provides Australian-based product support and replacement parts from our Brisbane operation.
