Description
Paddock™ Multistage Submersible Irrigation Pumps combine the convenience of a submersible clean-water pump with the higher discharge pressures produced by a multistage pump design.
Available in two 2.2kW models, the range offers either up to 166L/min with 70m maximum head or 100L/min with 90m maximum head. This makes them ideal for irrigation and water-transfer applications where both useful flow and substantial discharge head are required.

Paddock™ Multistage Submersible Irrigation Pumps
Unlike conventional low-head submersible drainage pumps, these Paddock pumps use a multistage design to generate substantially higher discharge heads.
This makes them particularly useful for pumping clean water directly from suitable dams, tanks and pits into irrigation or water-transfer systems.
Key Features
- 2.2kW, 240V single-phase motor
- Multistage design for high discharge head
- Maximum flow up to 166L/min
- Maximum discharge head up to 90m
- Maximum stated operating depth: 5m
- Clean-water applications
- Thermal and overload protection
- Aluminium alloy motor housing with anti-rust treatment
- Two performance options available
- 12 month warranty
High-Pressure Submersible Pump Design
The multistage pump arrangement allows these models to generate considerably greater discharge head than a typical high-flow drainage-style submersible pump.
The SPIP2250N is the higher-flow model, delivering a stated maximum flow of 166L/min and maximum discharge head of 70m.
The SPIP2265N is designed for applications requiring greater head, with a stated maximum flow of 100L/min and maximum discharge head of 90m.
Maximum Flow vs Maximum Head
Maximum flow and maximum discharge head occur at different points on the pump performance curve and should not be expected simultaneously.
Actual delivered flow will depend on total dynamic head, including vertical elevation, pipe length and diameter, fittings, valves, filters and other restrictions within the system.
Ideal for Irrigation
These pumps are particularly useful where a submersible pump is preferred but sufficient discharge head is required to move water through longer pipe runs or into compatible irrigation systems.
Typical applications include:
- Farm and agricultural irrigation
- Lawn and garden irrigation
- Water transfer from suitable dams and tanks
- Spraying applications
- Commercial water transfer
- Clean-water sump and pit pumping
- Suitable mining and industrial clean-water applications
- Aquarium and water circulation applications where specifications are compatible
SPIP2250N – Higher Flow Model
With a 50mm / 2" BSP outlet and maximum stated flow of 166L/min, the SPIP2250N is the better option where higher water volume is the priority.
- Maximum flow: 166L/min
- Maximum head: 70m
- Approximate pressure equivalent at 70m head: 686kPa / 99psi
- Outlet: 50mm / 2" BSP
SPIP2265N – Higher Head Model
The SPIP2265N sacrifices some maximum flow in favour of greater discharge head, making it suitable where additional pressure or elevation capability is required.
- Maximum flow: 100L/min
- Maximum head: 90m
- Approximate pressure equivalent at 90m head: 882kPa / 128psi
- Outlet: 32mm / 1-1/2" BSP

Clean Water Applications
These pumps are designed for clean-water service. They should not be treated as trash, sewage or slurry pumps unless the pumped fluid and any suspended solids are specifically within the manufacturer's allowable limits.
Where pumping from a dam, pit or similar source, position the pump to minimise the intake of mud, sand, vegetation and sediment.
Installation & Electrical Requirements
The pump is supplied without a plug and must be electrically installed by a licensed electrician.
The complete installation should provide appropriate electrical protection and comply with applicable electrical requirements for a submersible pump operating around water.
Pipework should be sized appropriately for the required flow and distance. Undersized pipework, long runs and excessive fittings can create substantial friction losses and reduce available flow at the discharge point.
Do not exceed the stated 5m maximum operating depth or 40°C maximum liquid temperature.
