Description
The Paddock™ Tractor Single Furrow Plough is a simple, heavy-duty implement for cultivation, soil preparation and acreage maintenance. Designed for tractors with Category I three-point linkage, the plough requires no PTO or auxiliary hydraulics and suits compatible tractors from 18–40HP.
Its heavy-duty steel construction and simple design make it a practical, low-maintenance implement for farms, acreage properties and general soil cultivation.
Paddock™ Tractor Single Furrow Plough – Category I
The Paddock™ single furrow tractor plough provides a straightforward way to break and turn soil using the tractor's three-point linkage.
With no PTO drive, hydraulic motor or auxiliary hydraulic connections required, the plough is simple to attach, operate and maintain.

Soil Cultivation & Preparation
The plough is designed to penetrate and turn suitable soil as the tractor travels forward, making it useful for primary cultivation and preparation before further working, seeding or planting.
Typical applications include:
- Farm and acreage cultivation
- Breaking previously worked ground
- Turning and aerating soil
- Preparing soil before planting or seeding
- Garden and horticultural preparation
- Pasture and paddock maintenance
- Creating furrows
Single Furrow Design
The single furrow configuration provides a compact and uncomplicated implement that can be used with a broad range of smaller Category I tractors.
As the plough moves through the ground, the blade cuts into the soil and turns it to one side. Multiple passes can then be made to progressively work the required area.
Category I Three-Point Linkage
The plough mounts directly to a compatible tractor using a Category I three-point linkage. Category I pins are supplied with the implement.
No auxiliary hydraulic connections or PTO shaft are required.
Before purchase, confirm your tractor's three-point linkage category, available adjustment and suitability for the implement.
18–40HP Tractor Compatibility
The Paddock™ plough is specified for use with compatible tractors in the 18–40HP range.
Required tractor power and traction will vary depending on soil type, moisture content, operating depth, ground conditions and tractor configuration.
Hard, dry, rocky or heavily compacted ground may require shallower initial passes or additional soil preparation.
Adjustable Working Depth
The stated operating depth is approximately 8–16" (200–400mm). Actual working depth will depend on tractor setup, linkage adjustment and ground conditions.
Correct three-point linkage adjustment is important for maintaining a suitable plough angle and consistent penetration.
Low-Maintenance Tractor Implement
The simple mechanical design has no powered drivetrain or hydraulic system to maintain.
Routine maintenance primarily involves inspecting the blade, linkage points, pins, fasteners and steel structure for wear or damage before use.
Replacement blades, pins and other service parts are available through Scintex.

Assembly & Setup
Minor assembly is required on arrival. Before operation, ensure all linkage pins, retaining clips, bolts and fasteners are correctly installed and secure.
Set the tractor's three-point linkage and plough position to suit the ground conditions and desired working depth before commencing cultivation.
Operating Considerations
Ploughing performance will vary with soil type, moisture content, compaction, rocks, roots, tractor traction and operating depth. Begin at a suitable depth for the conditions and adjust the three-point linkage as required.
Before cultivating unfamiliar ground, identify underground services, irrigation lines and other buried infrastructure that could be damaged by the plough.
