Description

The Paddock™ Tractor PTO Finishing Mower provides a clean, even cut across maintained grass areas where presentation is important. Featuring a 1450mm cutting width, adjustable 25–100mm cutting height and six spring-steel blades, it is ideal for acreages, parks, equine properties, schools, caravan parks and other large grassed areas.

Designed for tractors in the 25–50HP range, the mower suits Category I or II 3-point linkage and includes a 1-3/8" 6-spline PTO shaft.

Designed for a Neater Finish

A finishing mower is intended for regularly maintained grass where cut quality and presentation are more important than the ability to clear heavy scrub and overgrown vegetation.

The six-blade cutting arrangement provides an even cut across the 1450mm mowing width, making this implement well suited to lawns and larger maintained grass areas that would be time-consuming to mow with smaller equipment.

For heavy scrub, woody growth, dense overgrowth or rough clearing applications, a dedicated tractor slasher may be more appropriate.

25–100mm Adjustable Cutting Height

Cutting height can be adjusted from approximately 25mm to 100mm (1"–4"), allowing the mower to be configured for different grass conditions and desired finished height.

For best results, avoid attempting to remove excessive grass height in a single pass. Heavier or taller growth may require a higher initial cut followed by a lower finishing pass.

Rear Discharge Design

Cut grass is discharged from the rear of the mowing deck, helping distribute clippings behind the mower as the tractor progresses.

This arrangement also avoids continually discharging cut material directly into the adjacent uncut mowing path.

Six Spring-Steel Blades

The mower uses six cutting blades manufactured from 65Mn spring steel. The multiple-blade arrangement provides cutting coverage across the full 1450mm deck width for an even finish on maintained grass.

Category I & II Tractor Compatibility

The mower is designed for tractors with a Category I or Category II 3-point linkage. Category I linkage pins are supplied.

A 1-3/8" 6-spline PTO shaft is also included, providing the driveline between the tractor PTO and mower gearbox.

The recommended tractor power range is 25–50HP. Confirm your tractor's linkage, PTO and lifting capacity are suitable for the 240kg implement before purchase.

Paddock™ PTO Finishing Mower Specifications

Before First Use

Gearbox oil must be added and checked before operating the mower. The implement is shipped with some assembly required to reduce its transport and storage dimensions.

Before operation, correctly assemble the mower, fill the gearbox with the specified lubricant and inspect the PTO shaft, guards, linkage, blades and fasteners in accordance with the operating instructions.

Choosing a Finishing Mower or Slasher
