Description
The 0.75L Water Pump Accumulator Tank is designed for use with compatible diaphragm water pumps to help provide smoother water delivery, reduce pressure fluctuations and reduce frequent pump cycling.
Ideal for 12V and 24V pressure pump systems commonly used in boats, caravans, campers and other compact water systems, the accumulator stores pressurised water and releases it as required before the pump needs to restart.
Water Pump Accumulator Tank – 0.75L
An accumulator tank helps improve the operation of a pressure-controlled diaphragm pump system by storing a small volume of water under pressure.
As the pump operates, water entering the accumulator compresses the internal air charge. When a tap is opened, this stored pressure helps supply water before the pump needs to start again.

Connections
The accumulator features 1/2" male BSP threaded connections and is supplied with 2 x 10mm hose barb tails for convenient installation into compatible water systems.
Pre-Charge Pressure
The tank is supplied with a 10 PSI pre-charge. For correct system operation, the accumulator pressure should be adjusted to suit the pump installation.
A suggested setting is approximately 3 PSI below the pump cut-in pressure. Air pressure can be checked and adjusted through the common Schrader-style valve.

Installation
Set the accumulator pre-charge to suit the pump's cut-in pressure before use. The suggested setting is approximately 3 PSI below the pump cut-in pressure.
Ensure the tank, fittings, hoses and other system components are suitable for the operating pressure of the complete installation. Any leaks or faults causing abnormal pump cycling should be located and repaired.
