Paddock™ 10 Micron Marine Water Separating Fuel Filter – S3213

Description

The Paddock™ 10 Micron Marine Water Separating Fuel Filter is designed to help protect compatible petrol outboard fuel systems by separating water and filtering contaminants before fuel reaches the engine.

The assembly features a reusable clear collection bowl for easy visual inspection and drainage of separated water, together with a replaceable 10 micron filter element. Maximum rated flow is 227L/hr (60GPH).

Paddock™ 10 Micron Marine Water Separating Fuel Filter

Designed for compatible marine petrol fuel systems, this filter assembly combines fuel filtration with a clear water collection bowl. The transparent bowl allows accumulated water and contamination to be visually inspected and drained as required.

Water Separating Pre-Filter

Installed in the fuel supply line, the filter helps capture contaminants and separate water before they reach downstream engine fuel system components.

The clear lower bowl provides a convenient way to visually check for accumulated water. If water is present, it can be drained from the bottom of the bowl as part of routine fuel system maintenance.

Specifications

Draining Collected Water

• Stop the engine and ensure the fuel system is safe to service.
• Position a suitable container beneath the filter.
• Loosen the drain plug and drain accumulated water and contamination.
• Securely tighten the drain plug.
• Prime the fuel system as required.
• Start the engine and carefully check the filter assembly for fuel leaks.

Replacing the Filter Element

• Stop the engine and safely drain the filter into a suitable container.
• Remove the filter element and attached bowl from the mounting assembly.
• Remove the reusable clear bowl from the old filter element.
• Clean and inspect the bowl and O-ring sealing surfaces.
• Install the bowl and appropriate seals onto the replacement element.
• Install the replacement filter element according to the fuel system requirements.
• Prime the fuel system as required.
• Start the engine and carefully check for fuel leaks before operation.

Maintenance: Regularly inspect the clear bowl for accumulated water or contamination and service the filter as required. Filter replacement intervals should also follow the engine and fuel system manufacturer's maintenance requirements.

Important: Fuel system servicing should be carried out away from ignition sources and with suitable precautions for handling petrol. Dispose of drained fuel and contaminated material appropriately.
