Description
A heavy duty, walking irrigator with 3.2m boom. Ideal for acreages where up to 5 acres of irrigation is required. The 100m run length gives a good 0.59 acre coverage. Integrated features such as automatic travel stop and optional automatic shut off valve provide set and forget peace of mind. With 4 speeds and various nozzle options the junior walking irrigator is versatile and adaptable. The simple, yet rugged design, makes these irrigators long lasting and easy to maintain.

The Junior irrigator is an ideal irrigator for small acreage or large lawns. It is perfect for all types of horticulture and open fields. It operates in the same way as its big brother the Standard Irrigator. Purely mechanical, it has no gearbox, hydraulics or water winch so most of the normal irrigator problems have been removed.
The Junior has been scaled down in size but not performance. It has a 100m run and throws up to an impressive 25m. The Junior has 4 speeds and has an optional automatic shut off valve that will shut the water off at the end of the pass. If the shut off valve is not required it can easily be disconnected and the irrigator will just stop walking when it reaches the end of its pass. This little irrigator is a real asset to any farm or garden.
Nozzles: The irrigator comes with washers to create three different nozzle diameters. For specifications see the performance table below.
Optional Irrigator Accessories:
Layflat Hose with Camlocks: 50m of 32mm heavy duty, ribbed layflat hose with aluminium camlocks and clamps (1x 'C' camlock, 1x 'A' camlock). These can be joined to extend the length.
Automatic Shutoff Valve: This valve assembly will shut the water supply to the irrigator off when it has reached the end of the wire rope. Great for increased water efficiency. Note that a separate control is needed to turn the pump off.

Irrigator Hose Layout
Hose
When choosing a hose for your walking irrigator, we recommend and supply heavy duty, abrasion resistant ribbed layflat irrigator hose. Lay flat is recommended over poly pipe as poly easily kinks. If this happens, the kinked pipe will need to be cut and rejoined. When towing your layflat, use a skid to prevent tangles.
Water Supply
The ideal location for the supply hydrant is in the middle of the irrigator run
