Centrifuges offer a cost effective means of cleaning oil and fuels like diesel. Once purchased there are few ongoing costs as they do not take filter elements. To clean simply open the centrifuge and clean out the internal rotor or catchment. Centrifuges work by spinning at high speeds, the centrifugal force spins out any liquid or solids which are denser than the carrier liquid. Importantly carbon and other sediments are removed from motor oils, vegetable oils and diesel. The Scintex range of centrifuges are spun using the pump supply pressure.
