Description
Paddock™ Core Drill Stands provide a stable, adjustable platform for compatible core drilling motors. Available in vacuum-base and anchor-bolt configurations, the range suits core bits up to 252mm, 352mm or 452mm without spacers, depending on model.
Paddock™ Core Drill Stands
Designed for concrete coring applications, these heavy-duty drill stands combine alloy masts, steel bases and roller carriages to provide controlled drill travel and adjustable drilling angles.
Three models are available to suit different core diameters and mounting methods:
- PCDR250A – vacuum base, up to 252mm core bit without spacers
- PCDR350A – vacuum base, up to 352mm core bit without spacers
- PCDR440A – anchor-bolt base, up to 452mm core bit without spacers

Vacuum Base Models
The PCDR250A and PCDR350A include integrated vacuum bases for use with a suitable vacuum pump on appropriate surfaces.
These models include a vacuum relief valve and 1/4" quick-connect air fitting for connection to the vacuum system.
Vacuum mounting can provide a convenient alternative to anchor drilling where the surface, equipment and operating conditions are suitable.
Anchor-Bolt Base Model
The larger PCDR440A uses a conventional anchor-bolt base and is designed for larger diameter coring applications.
This model accommodates core bits up to 452mm diameter without spacers.
0–45° Adjustable Drilling Angle
All three stands can be adjusted from vertical through to a maximum stated drilling angle of 45°, allowing angled coring where required.
The mast and carriage arrangement provides controlled travel during drilling and assists with maintaining alignment through the cut.

Recommended with the PCDR250A stand for core bits up to 252mm without spacers.
PCD3300W Core Drill Motor
Recommended with the PCDR350A or PCDR440A stands depending on required coring diameter and base type.

Core Drill Vacuum Pump
The Paddock™ core drill vacuum pump is suitable for use with the PCDR250A and PCDR350A vacuum-base stands.
A vacuum system must only be used where the surface and operating conditions allow secure attachment of the stand. Always confirm adequate vacuum before drilling.

Important Setup Information
Before drilling, ensure the stand is securely mounted using either the correct vacuum system or appropriate anchor method for the selected stand.
Confirm the drill motor, stand, core bit and mounting system are compatible and correctly assembled before operation. Keep the stand firmly secured throughout drilling and follow the operating instructions supplied with the drill motor and stand.
For angled drilling, ensure the base remains securely fixed and that the adjusted mast position does not compromise stability.
