Turbine Fuel Filter Elements – 500FG, 900FH & 1000FH – 2, 10 & 30 Micron

Description

Replacement turbine fuel filter elements to suit compatible Scintex, Racor and Griffin 500, 900 and 1000 series filter assemblies. Available in 2, 10 and 30 micron ratings, each element is supplied with a replacement gasket and T-handle O-ring for servicing.

Turbine Fuel Filter Replacement Elements

These replacement elements are designed for use with compatible turbine-style diesel fuel filter and water separator assemblies including selected Scintex, Racor and Griffin 500, 900 and 1000 series filters.

Three micron ratings are available to suit different stages of fuel filtration:

• 2 micron – fine filtration
• 10 micron – medium filtration
• 30 micron – coarse / primary filtration

The 2010 series elements are suitable for compatible Racor 500FG series filters and Griffin GTB228 series filters.

900FH Series Elements

The 2040 series elements are suitable for compatible Racor 900FH series filters.

• 2040SM – 2 micron
• 2040TM – 10 micron
• 2040PM – 30 micron

1000FH Series Elements

The 2020 series elements are suitable for compatible Racor 1000FH series filters and Griffin GTB681 series filters.

• 2020SM – 2 micron
• 2020TM – 10 micron
• 2020PM – 30 micron

Choosing the Correct Micron Rating

Select the micron rating to suit the filtration requirements of your fuel system and the position of the filter within the installation.

As a general guide, coarser elements are commonly used for primary filtration while finer elements provide greater particulate removal where required. Always follow the engine, fuel-system or filter manufacturer's recommendations when selecting the final micron rating.

Replacement Seals Included

Each replacement element is supplied with the service seals required for routine filter maintenance:

• Replacement element gasket
• Replacement T-handle O-ring

Inspect all sealing surfaces during servicing and replace worn or damaged seals before returning the filter assembly to service.

Important Compatibility Information

Always confirm the filter housing model before ordering a replacement element. The 500FG, 900FH and 1000FH series use different element families and are not interchangeable.

Where replacing an existing element, check the current filter part number and micron rating to ensure the correct replacement is selected.
