Paddock™ Wet Sand Blasting Kit for Pressure Washers
This wet blasting attachment uses the water flow from a pressure washer to draw abrasive media into the discharge stream, creating a powerful combination of high-pressure water and abrasive material.
The result is a more aggressive surface-cleaning action than pressure washing alone, making the kit useful for stripping coatings, removing corrosion and cleaning heavily contaminated hard surfaces.

How Wet Abrasive Blasting Works
The kit combines pressure washer water with abrasive media drawn through the supplied sand probe.
As high-pressure water passes through the blasting head, it creates suction that draws dry abrasive media into the stream. The water and abrasive are then discharged together onto the work surface.
This abrasive action can remove material that ordinary pressure washing may struggle to shift, including:
- Rust and corrosion
- Old paint
- Compatible surface coatings
- Graffiti
- Heavy staining
- Scale and surface contamination
Wet Blasting vs Dry Sand Blasting
Because the abrasive is mixed with water at the blasting head, wet blasting can help suppress airborne dust compared with conventional dry abrasive blasting.
Wet blasting does not eliminate exposure to hazardous dust or contaminants. Appropriate respiratory protection, eye and face protection, protective clothing and worksite controls should still be used according to the abrasive media, coating being removed and application.
Avoid using silica-containing abrasive media unless it is specifically appropriate for the application and all required health and safety controls are in place.
Ceramic Abrasive Nozzle
The blasting head incorporates a strengthened ceramic nozzle tube designed to better withstand the abrasive wear created by blasting media passing through the nozzle.
Abrasive components are wear items and should be inspected periodically, particularly where the kit is used regularly.
Pressure Washer Connection
The kit has a 1/4" female BSP inlet designed to connect to a compatible pressure washer lance or outlet fitting.
An optional SPWFITQ 1/4" quick-connect adaptor is available where quick attachment and removal is preferred.
Optional Pressure Washer Spray Gun
A compatible single-lance spray gun is also available where required for the installation.

Pressure Washer Compatibility
For best performance, the connected pressure washer should be suitable for the kit's required pressure and flow. Actual blasting performance will depend on pressure washer output, abrasive type, abrasive condition, suction hose arrangement and the surface being treated.
All hoses, fittings, spray guns and adaptors used with the system must also be rated for the operating pressure and temperature.
Important Operating & Safety Notes
Wet abrasive blasting is an aggressive surface-treatment process. Test the equipment on a small inconspicuous area before treating the complete surface.
Use only suitable blasting media and keep the abrasive supply dry so it can flow freely through the suction system.
Do not direct the blasting stream at people, animals, glass, delicate finishes or other surfaces that could be damaged by high-pressure water and abrasive media.
Paints and coatings can contain hazardous substances. Before removing unknown or older coatings, identify the material where necessary and use appropriate containment and personal protective equipment.
