2" BSP Drum & Tank Adaptor Fitting – 1" BSP
Description
This heavy-duty steel drum and tank adaptor fitting allows pumps, suction hoses and dip tubes to be connected through the common 2" BSP female opening found on many drums and tanks.
Featuring a 1" BSP female internal connection and 1" BSP male pump connection, the adaptor provides a neat, secure installation while helping reduce the entry of water, dust and other contaminants into the vessel.
2" BSP Drum & Tank Adaptor Fitting
Designed for extracting compatible liquids such as oil and diesel from drums and tanks, this adaptor provides a convenient way to install a suction dip tube or hose through a standard 2" BSP female drum or tank opening.
The adaptor screws directly into the vessel's 2" BSP female connection. An internal 1" BSP female thread allows a compatible telescopic dip tube or hose tail to be installed below the adaptor, while the upper 1" BSP male connection provides the connection point for the pump suction hose or pipework.

Three-Piece Union Design
The three-piece barrel union style design makes changing drums or tanks faster and more convenient. The union can be separated when changing vessels without having to repeatedly make and break the pump suction hose connection.
This is particularly useful for pump installations where the same pump and suction hose are regularly moved between drums.
Compatible Dip Tube & Suction Hose Installation
The internal 1" BSP female connection can accept a compatible dip tube or fitting. For standard drum applications, the adaptor can be combined with the Scintex Telescopic Drum Dip Tube – Part No. SDTE01.
Alternatively, a compatible 1" hose tail and suction hose can be fitted where a longer suction line is required for deeper tanks.
