415V Winches

A 415V three-phase winch is intended for fixed industrial or commercial sites with an appropriate electrical supply. It can be used for controlled pulling and hauling of equipment or heavy loads where a mains-powered winch is preferable to a battery-powered model. The exact load capacity, line arrangement and mounting requirements must be checked against the individual winch specifications.
Three-phase motors are commonly used in industrial equipment because they start strongly, operate efficiently and are well suited to regular service when correctly sized. A 415V winch avoids the large DC battery and cabling system required by a comparable vehicle-style winch. It does, however, require professional electrical installation and is not intended as a portable off-grid recovery solution.
The collection includes a wireless control kit intended for compatible Scintex 240V and 415V winches. Compatibility should be confirmed for the exact winch model before ordering or installation. A wireless remote can improve operator positioning and visibility, but the operator must still maintain a clear view of the load and keep people outside the danger zone.
The required pulling force is affected by slope, friction, rolling resistance, load condition and any pulley arrangement; it is not simply the load’s weight. Side pulls can also cause poor cable spooling and additional stress. The complete installation should be assessed for the worst expected load, with suitable margins and mounting points designed for the resulting forces.
Regularly inspect the wire rope or synthetic line, hook, drum, brake, gearbox, controls, limit systems and mounting fasteners. Keep the line correctly layered and replace damaged components before further use. Service intervals should reflect operating frequency and environment, with more frequent checks in dusty, wet, corrosive or marine locations. Electrical servicing must be carried out by a suitably qualified person.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
